Mr. Rui Yongxiang, with his extraordinary persistence and uncompromising attitude, has shaped a brand value of billions for Zhongying Group. Room 302, Unit 23, Zhongying Black Forest Phase I

Old and renovated passive house model room

20 years ago, Lu Shouchun and I brought advanced housing concepts from Europe to China, marking the starting point of the Zhongying Black Forest. Now, after 20 years of accumulation and precipitation, we are about to reach a new milestone, committed to improving China's housing quality to a global leading level. Our goal is to make every house a passive house with zero energy consumption and high comfort.

The beginning of this transformation is the model room of the old passive house in Unit 302 of Unit 23 in the first phase of Zhongying Black Forest. This project strictly follows the standards of the Passive House Institute in Germany, and through precise calculations, performance-based design, and refined construction, creates a passive building that achieves optimal indoor air quality and extremely high comfort while controlling incremental costs.

The model room will first be opened to the owners of Phase I. After nearly twenty years of living, the first phase of the house has entered the peak period of secondary decoration. This passive house model room will showcase a true "high comfort, low energy consumption" residential experience for them. At the same time, the model room is also open to the whole of Shanghai and the whole country. Experts, scholars, architects, and friends interested in zero carbon economy are welcome to visit and explore together to promote the future of green buildings in China.

The success of this project cannot be achieved without the support of over 100 building systems and HVAC technology suppliers from Switzerland and Germany. After a year of planning and design, the model room adopted a technical solution that meets the German Passive House PLUS standard, and achieved the following indicators in a 180 square meter residential area:

Insulation: U value of 0.15 W/(m ² K) for opaque bodies, U value of 0.80 W/(m ² K) for windows
• Non thermal bridge design: PSI<0.01W/mK
• Three glass two chamber windows: U value of glass ≤ 0.8W/(m ² K), g value 50-55%
• Airtightness: n50 ≤ 0.6/h
• Fresh air system with heat recovery function: Heat exchange
Sustainable energy application: The shower waste heat recovery system has a heat recovery rate of 70%, and the balcony photovoltaic power generation system has a power of 195w per square meter. The project will enter the renovation phase in mid to late October 2024. Stay tuned!
